OFFICIAL EVENT APPLICATION

To ensure the best operation of Frostival as possible, all events must adhere to the following criteria: 

Dates: Applicant dates must fall within the dates of January 13-February 24, 2024
Deadline: To be considered for inclusion in this year's Frostival, your event application must be received no later than December 1, 2023. Applicants will be notified after the review process. 
Event Theme: The event must either focus on getting outside in the winter months or include a winter theme if it is indoors. Events that are unique and considered "North of Normal" are always encouraged. They may not be political or religious in nature. Fundraisers are not eligible to be part of Frostival. 
Event Assistance: Community organizers are eligible to receive event assistance dollars to help with operational and/or marketing costs. In order to be eligible to receive event assistance dollars, event organizers are required to provide the following: 

  • Expected event operating budget

  • Marketing Plan

  • Event recap that includes attendance, final budget, a summary of total costs/invoices, and marketing overview recap. 

Please note that assistance will be awarded on final budgets after the event takes place. 

Event Cooperation: All events are required to cooperate with the Frostival committee for event research and other partnership efforts including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Communication with primary stakeholders on Frostival promotion

  • Display of signage provided by the CVB to maintain consistent branding

  • Utilization of marketing materials and collateral created by Frostival committee to advertise the event

Law and Ordinance Adherence: All events must obey local, state, and federal laws as well as any local ordinances that may apply. Including, but not limited to, permits, licensing, and waivers. This also includes the collection and remittance of sales tax on all admissions and/or products sold.
